 Distinguidos lectores:

 En el transcurso de este año, el mundo ha girado de una forma tan inesperada que a ratos sentimos que nada de lo vivido durante esta pandemia podía estar realmente sucediendo. En lo personal, muchas noches he deseado que, al despertar al día siguiente, pudiera descubrir que todo esto se tratase de una pesadilla.

 A medida que han pasado los días aceptamos e interiorizamos estas nuevas condiciones y, finalmente, nos hemos convencido de que e una crisis tan profunda como la actual es cuando aflora la humanidad en todas sus facetas, encontrando las oportunidades para alcanzar los cambios que nos merecemos como sociedad, destacando con fuerza lo bueno y condenando severamente lo malo.

En lo que a nosotros como empresarios respecta, en este período hemos demostrado una vez más cómo somos solidarios con los más necesitados a través de una serie de programas, fondos y Comités que han permitido alimentación, medicina, insumos y equipos médicos a decenas de miles de personas. La satisfacción de haber servido a los más vulnerables es lo que nos llena al final del día y no requiere de reconocimiento alguno, más que la paz interior de haber hecho lo que correspondía por el prójimo. Como Presidente de la Cámara de Industrias de Guayaquil, me he sentido tremendamente orgullosa al ver a tantos de nuestros afiliados haciéndose presentes de las formas más creativas y recursivas en los espacios que requerían de su apoyo y presencia fraterna.

 Estoy segura de que en esta edición de la Revista encontrarán mucho de ello, recorriendo nuestras páginas de la mano de reconocidas empresarias y a través de nuestros artículos relacionados al momento y las necesidades actuales. ¡Estoy segura lo aprovecharán de manera especial!
